TomBrevoort: It costs three dollars to take money out of an unaffiliated cash machine. Nobody can complain to me about $3.99 comics anymore.
Oooh - that's gonna tick off some people. Tom, people can easily avoid unaffiliated cash machines. They can also easily avoid your $3.99 books.
Actually, I'm not radically against $3.99 books - if there is something about them that makes them more valuable than the books priced at $2.99. Like a top tier creator, or extra content. I have spoken to a lot of people for whom $3.99 is a threshold they are not willing to cross.
