Review: Supergirl #37 D-
| Writer: Sterling Gates Penciler: Jamal Igle |
I've been reading Supergirl since issue #1. I decided to drop the book about halfway through this issue. I really have nothing redeeming to say about it. The story continues from the New Krypton storyline. The Kandor Kryptonians have "grown" a new Krypton at the antipode of Earth's orbit. Much of the issue revolves around Supergirl squabbling with her psychotic mother and more setup for the "mysterious" (I bet it's Thara) new Superwoman.
This Supergirl isn't recognizable as the character I've been reading. The New Krypton storyline failed, for me, and this new Superwoman isn't very likable. I think I can jump off, now.
