Review: Green Lantern #37 A+
| Writer: Geoff Johns Penciler: Ivan Reis |
Green Lantern is consistently one of the best books each month and one of the few things really working at DC, right now. When Geoff Johns brought Hal Jordan back in October 2004, he began a story that is building to what will without doubt be DC's biggest event of this and next year. That event is Blackest Night and promises a battle of the full spectrum of ring corps.
This issue brings us closer to that event and features an impressive battle between Green, Blue, Red, and Yellow lanterns - each trying to get ahold of Sinestro. Johns really understands the lanterns and makes them work, again. Ivan Reis' art, influenced by the look Ethan van Sciver created in Rebirth, is perfect for the title.
