Review: Invincible #59 A
| Writer: Robert Kirkman Penciler: Ryan Ottley Inker: Cliff Rathburn Price: $2.99 |
This issue is a dramatic change in tone for the series, but it appears to just be a single issue experiment and everything will be back to normal, next month. Robert Kirkman says that he wanted to try writing an issue from the perspective of the villain and he produced a dark story, to do that. It's a nice piece of variety.
Invincible is the best superhero comic outside of Marvel and DC. If you have never read it, I recommend picking up the first trade paperback and giving it a shot.
