This prequel to the upcoming motion picture proceeds, and as it does, it reveals more about what has happened in the Star Trek universe. Data is now Captain of the Enterprise. Picard is an ambassador. Spock is still trying to reconcile Vulcan and Romulus.
This issue provides a better understanding of how the young, idealistic, and friendly Nero, from last issue, will become the angry villain in the film.
