Wednesday is Comic Day!

I love my local comic store (Bedrock City Comics). In general they provide excellent service. But they deserve a jeer for the way they handled Free Comic Book Day, this year.

I acted as a marketer and encouraged a lot of people I work with whom love comic book movies but don't really read comic books to go visit the store last Saturday. I told them that they could get some free comics to try out. Several of them went, but came back disappointed. They said that the store was only allowing them to pick one free comic and that the selection was small, when the FCBD website had indicated to them that there would be dozens of different comics designed to be part of FCBD. I don't think a copy of every comic should be given to each person, but a common and good practice is to let them select five books.
