Review: Ultimate Spider-man: Requiem #1 B+
| Writer: Brian M. Bendis Artist: Stuart Immonen & Mark Bagley Publisher: Marvel Price: $3.99 |
Very good and very annoying.
If you were wondering what really happened to Spider-man in the last issue of Jeph Loeb's abomination Ultimatum, well, you won't find out, here. Although the story is framed around the events of the day after the ultimatum wave, the bulk of the story is a flashback scene involving Spider-man, MJ, and Iron Man.
Other than that, it's all very good. The contemporary scenes are drawn by Stuart Immonen, whom has been on the book for the last couple of years. The flashback is drawn by Mark Bagley, the artist for the first 100+ issues of the book. They flowed together so well that I didn't actually notice there were two artists until I finished the book.
