Review: Captain America: Reborn #1 A+
| Writer: Ed Brubaker Artists: Bryan Hitch & Butch Guice Publisher: Marvel Comics Price: $3.99 |
Follow up:
This is certainly the comic of the week. Brubaker and Hitch put forth their best work and reveal that Brubaker really did have everything planned from the start. I won't give any spoilers, as this is an exciting read.
Man, the art is great. Hitch cleverly uses a mixture of splash pages, close shots, and angles so that Steve Rogers always comes across as larger that life and Brubaker has Steve's voice down so well that when the character finally speaks, we know that it is really him.
This issue features 29 pages of story, plus an intriguing 6 page preview of an upcoming Brubaker title called "The Marvels Project".

A+ eh. Glad you enjoyed it. I also had little faith in Ed to pull this off. He did a good job convincing me he was gone forever. Hearing he was coming back, I thought BS.
